Diego and I deployed to Hurricane Katrina on 8/29/05 with USAR State Task Force 4 for a 7 day deployment. Magnum, was my second USAR K-9.
Due to time restraints and the need of another USAR Task Force for trained K-9s,
I have placed Magnum in a wonderful home with an Oklahoma Task Force 1 K-9
Handler. We look forward to watching him progress and teach his new handler the
ropes in USAR! I miss him greatly but know that he is very happy and
getting lots of attention.
